what i got from reading "The Fish" by Elizabeth Bishop

is it me or does this person seem like an amature when it came to fishing i think she was looking for a way to vent. She seemed as if she was looking for some sort of clarity when she says "i stared and stared and victory filled up the rental boat" that shows that she was there for something other then the plain sport of fishing. Also after she analyzed the captured fish she evntually let it go. In the last few satnzas she begins to describe things around her other then the fish she seen things in a diffrent light "where oil has spread a rainbow ....until everything was rainbow rainbow rainbow" i felt that she was trying to say that everything was starting to make sense to her
